Disregard Third Batch of Minister Nominees – Presidency

The presidency has however clarified that such a list isn't valid and no appointment of such has been made by the president.

The presidency has denounced the credibility of a list in circulation purported to be the third batch of ministerial appointments from President John Mahama.

The list in circulation featured names of members of the National Democratic Party both in parliament and out of parliament – including the NDC’s director of elections, Richard Omane Boamah who’s claimed to be Minister Designate in charge of Defence; Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Okudzeto Ablakwa designated to the Foreign Affairs Ministry.

The presidency has however clarified that such a list isn’t valid and no appointment of such has been made by the president.

The acting spokesperson for the president and Member of Parliament for Abura Asebu Kwamankese, Felix Ofosu Kwakye substantiated government’s claim through a tweet.
