Ghana has declared a visa-free entry for all African passport holders effective January 2025.
The country’s outgoing president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo announced the decision during his final State of the Nation Address in parliament on Friday.
He said the initiative aims to enhance economic integration in Africa by facilitating the free movement of people, goods, and services across the continent, which is in line with the objectives of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCTA).
