A letter dated June 16, 2025, and addressed to the party’s council of elders said the NPP chairman is unwell, and therefore should temporarily be excluded from active party duties and politics until further notice.
“At this juncture, we, the family members of Mr. Stephen Ntim have learned that he party has convened a meeting scheduled to be chaired by Mr. Ntim and we would like our beloved son… to be excused from attendance of this event, due to recent developments on his health and wellbeing being from today 16th June, 2025,” they said.
