Ghana’s youngest Guinness World Record (GWR) holder, Ace-Liam Nana Sam Ankrah, has been bestowed with a Global Child Prodigy in Art at the British Parliament in recognition of his artistic talent.
The two year old who holds the GWR title as the current youngest male artist has been named among the world’s Top 100 Child Prodigies at the third Global Child Prodigy Awards, held at the iconic Member’s Dining Room of the House of Commons, British Parliament in London, UK on June 26, 2025.
Ace-Liam came out as the top contender among a group of elite child prodigies from other countries who have also made significant strides in art, science, sports, and other fields of importance. His abstract artworks and paintings attracted attention worldwide, featuring on BBC, CNN, and exhibition events including the prestigious EMY Africa Xpo in 2024.
“Every child we honour proves that age is no barrier to extraordinary achievements. This platform exists to inspire and elevate young talents like Ace-Liam to continue pushing boundaries,” Prashant Pandey, Founder & CEO of the Global Child Prodigy Awards, said.
He noted that his award scheme, which honoured children, aimed to demystify the notion that age is a barrier to achieving extraordinary feats and also to add more grease to the elbows of young talents such as Ace-Liam.
Ace Liam’s record-breaking journey began with a bold attempt in Accra from January 18 to 20, 2024, when his mother, who is an artist herself, noticed her son’s love for the canvas and paint. Ace-Liam surpassed the previous record held by Dante Lamb, who achieved the milestone at just three years old back in 2003.
