“EOCO Brought Guns to My House!” — Shatta Wale Explodes After Alleged Raid Over Stolen Cars

“The President of Ghana didn’t put you in that office to come and humiliate the citizens of this country… Remember, God no sleep!!,” Shatta wrote.

Controversial Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known as Shatta Wale, has taken to Facebook with a fiery outburst following what appears to be a dramatic raid at his residence by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO).

In a pair of explosive social media posts, the self-acclaimed African Dancehall King accuses EOCO, specifically naming its current boss Raymond Archer – of overstepping their mandate and intimidating citizens.

The posts, which have quickly gone viral, claim EOCO officials brought guns to his home allegedly in connection with an investigation into stolen vehicles.

“Bringing guns to my house was uncalled for!!!!” — Shatta Wale fumes.

Shatta didn’t mince words as he questioned the EOCO boss’s judgment and leadership, warning that such actions could cost the ruling NDC party power in the next election cycle.

“The President of Ghana didn’t put you in that office to come and humiliate the citizens of this country… Remember, God no sleep!!,” he wrote.

The incident has sparked wild discussions online, with fans and critics weighing in. Some netizens are questioning why such a heavy-handed approach was necessary, while others are calling for clarity on the alleged involvement of the musician in any car-related investigations.

As of now, EOCO has officially responded to Shatta Wale’s claims. What is confusing is the fact that the purported raid happened in June. So why is Shatta Wale ranting now in response to that?
