Mark your calendars! The Ghanaian crime film “King of T3MA,” from Anibok Studios, is set to premiere in theaters on November 14 and 15, 2025, with screening in Accra, Tema, Kumasi and Cape Coast.

The feature film, directed by Kobina De Graft-Johnson and set in the harbor city of Tema, Ghana, follows the character of a young man facing life’s pressures who gets entangled with the city’s underworld syndicate in a bid to secure a better life for himself and his family. The film’s emotive narrative explores how a hard-knock life tests the limits of one’s morality and conscience in a world where power play, betrayal, and notoriety are the currencies of success.

“King of T3MA” features an extraordinary cast, including veteran actor Kingsley Yamoah as King, legendary Ghanaian actor Fred Amugi as Alhaji, David Osabutey as Paa Kwesi, alongside Melvin Dain, Naya Pratt, Karl Sackeyfio, Brian Angels, Nana Sam Sackeyfio, and Kweku Elliott. The soundtrack for the film is originally scored by White Gold and Pascal Aka ( Black Rose and Heaven For Two).

The Anibok Studios founder Kobina De Graft Johnson, stated that “KING OF T3MA is not just a story about crime; it is a story about Ghana, about Tema, about us. It captures our struggles and our resilience, our darkness and our light. This film is proof that Ghanaian stories belong on the global stage.”
