Entertainment Week Ghana (EWG) is set to host its maiden launch festival edition in Ghana as part of its celebration of creative excellence in African film, fashion, photography, music, arts, and culture.
The week-long festival, slated for December 21-27, 2025 in Accra, will convene creators, entrepreneurs, business moguls, and artists for workshops, side events, collaborations, and partnerships aiming to spotlight Africa’s creative and cultural landscape. Entertainment Week Ghana 2025 is endorsed and supported by organizations, including The Black Star Experience, National Film Authority, and Ministry of Youth Empowerment and Development, with Konica Minolta as major sponsor.

Event Lineup & Time
Photo & Art Exhibition – Dec 21 10:00 am – 5:00pm
The festival’s inaugural program is the Mununkum photo and art exhibition at the historic Osu Castle, featuring Ghanaian creatives including Twins Don’t Beg, Ashmond Kwecy, and Seyram09, among others. The evening will culminate in an after-party powered by Akwaaba UK.
Film Festival – Dec 22 3:00 pm – 9:00 pm
The film festival will be held at Idris Elba’s global media headquarters, Akuna, and will feature thought – provoking panel discussions, film screenings, producer sessions, and a VIP creators’ circle, bringing together Africa’s most talented filmmakers, actors, and writers to celebrate African cinema and theatre arts.
Airwaves Music Festival – Dec 23 5:00 pm – 11:00pm
Powered by Lynx Entertainment, the music festival will take place at the Si Beachfront in Accra, featuring wellness activities and performances by Africa’s vibrant acts, DJs, and producers, delivering unforgettable performances that capture the energy of Ghana’s festive season.
EWG Summit – Dec 24 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Taking place at the Accra International Conference Centre (A.I.C.C) the summit will unite industry experts, investors and policy makers to tackle topics on Africa’s creative state through financial scales, technology, media, and cultural policies. The summit will a host a Deal Room, a live investment marketplace where creatives pitch to investors. It aims to provide access to capital, partnerships, and mentorship.
Atale Fashion Party – Dec 25 11: 00 am – 5: 00 pm
The Atale Fashion Party will spotlight five top designers in Africa, including Christie Brown, Chocolate Clothing, Free The Youth, Bloom by Edzi, and Detail Africa, with a runway show showcasing eco-conscious designs and brands, followed by an after-party at The Treehouse in Osu, Accra.
Side Events & Collaborations
Accra will come alive with side events, nightlife, and partnerships with Akwaaba UK and Mr. Eazi’s Detty Rave, showcasing Ghana’s Detty December magic.
