The nominees list for the 98th Oscars, which will honour the industry’s finest film stars and projects that have made waves in cinema from the past 12 months, has been released.
Ryan Coogler’s vampire epic, Sinners, leads the pack with 16 Oscar nominations, surpassing the record for the most Oscar nominations, previously held by All About Eve (1950), Titanic (1997), and La La Land (2016).
One Battle After Another is next with 13 nominations, while Frankenstein and Sentimental Value secure nine nods each, and Hamnet secures eight.
