The official trailer for “Call of My Life”, directed by Nigeria’s top music video director, Apampa Oluwdamilola Owolabi (Dammy Twitch), has been released.
With an extensive background in directing music videos for artists like Davido amongst others, Twitch brings his storytelling flair to the big screen in his debut feature film. Having directed a short film in 2023 (I Hate It Here),
Twitch stated that he chose a romantic comedy for his first cinematic piece, to reflect his heart, which he describes as “rooted in love and happiness”.

The film, written by Uzoamaka Power and produced by Blessing Uzzi for Bluhouse Studios, tells the story of Soluchi (Uzoamaka Power), a call-centre agent recovering from heartbreak who gets an unexpected connection with a stranger (Andrew Bunting) through a routine customer call. With emotions running high and the trauma of heartbreak still lingering, she reconsiders going all in with the stranger, giving love a second chance
Shot in Lagos, Abuja, and Enugu in high definition, “Call of My Life” boasts a talented cast, including Zuby Michael, Uzoamaka Power, Andrew Bunting, Nkem Owoh, Patience Ozorkwor, and Broda Shaggi, with musical performances by Johnny Drille and Cobhams Asuquo.
