Produced by DJ Coublon, the soulful “Wins & Losses” features a blend of atmospheric synths, boom-bap drum patterns, guitar licks, and a warm, piercing saxophone that amplifies the song’s emotional tone.
The song is a powerful epistle of resilience, defiance, and reflections, offering insights into Sarkodie’s personal struggles, overcoming obstacles and sacrifices made to attain success, often obscured from the public eye, which tends to glamorize fame and status.

In his verses, Sarkodie shares insights on the mindset necessary to navigate and stay ahead of trends in the music industry, focusing on his own grind and hustle that kept him at the top, while Yaadman’s emotive hook shines through and accentuates Sarkodie’s message.
This collaboration shows the undeniable spark between Sarkodie and Yaadman, showcasing their ability to breathe inspirational themes and substantive lyrics into songs, as evident in their previous collaborative records, “Glory” and “Friends To Enemies“.
