UK-based Ghanaian artist and music producer Kwame Yeboah is set to deliver a series of academic masterclasses on Ghanaian Highlife music at Tufts University in Boston.

The session, to be led the Ghanaian recording engineer, instrumentalist, and music director, will introduce students to compositional makeup, rhythm construction, language, African music tradition, live music craftsmanship, and the role Highlife music has played in shaping Ghanaian music identity and history.

About Kwame Yeboah

Kwame Yeboah is a producer, recording engineer, guitarist, percussionist, keyboardist, drummer, and singer, and is the music director for Kojo Antwi. He owns a recording studio, Mixstation, where he produces and promotes African artistes.

Born in the Western Region of Ghana, he spent his formative years learning from influential musicians, including his dad Anthony Kwabena Yeboah and uncle Paa Gyimah, an eminent Highlife musician. He studied music in Denmark and later relocated to the UK.

With over two decades of international touring experience, Kwame Yeboah has taken the stage across the United Kingdom, Europe, North America, and West Africa, showcasing his versatility as a performer.

One of the highlights of his career was performing with Craig David at a commemorative service celebrating the Commonwealth of Nations, where they had the honour of entertaining Queen Elizabeth II and members of the Royal Family.
