Nigerian international footballer Alex Iwobi has officially unveiled his debut studio album, titled “More to Life.”
The nine-track project was released under the pseudonym “17”, a clear tribute to the jersey number the attacking midfielder wears for English Premier League club Fulham. The album features guest collaborations with several Nigerian artists, including FIDO, 24AM, GIDDI, and SPKS.
Iwobi is no stranger to the music booth. In 2024, the Super Eagles star featured on Odumodublvck’s street anthem “Hop Out” before stepping out with his own solo singles, “What’s Luv?” and “Track Zero”

The release positions him among a select group of professional athletes who have successfully balanced high-level sporting careers with music. Notable examples include Ghana’s Kevin-Prince Boateng and Dutch-Ghanaian forward Memphis Depay, both of whom have released music projects while remaining active professional footballers.
The album “More to Life” marks Iwobi’s most significant step yet into the music world, offering fans a deeper insight into the 29-year-old’s life beyond the football pitch.
