The 2026 BET Awards nominations have been announced, with Cardi B receiving the highest number of nods.
The Bronx rapper earned six nominations, including Album of the Year for her sophomore project “Am I The Drama?”, Best Female Hip-Hop Artist, and Viewer’s Choice for “Outside.”
Kendrick Lamar and Mariah the Scientist each received five nominations, while Doechii, Doja Cat, Clipse, Teyana Taylor, Olivia Dean, and Latto earned four apiece.
BET also introduced two new categories this year: the Fashion Vanguard Award, which honours individuals whose style has made a major cultural impact, and the Pulse Award, which recognizes digital creators who have elevated Black culture online.
The 2026 BET Awards, hosted by Druski, will air live on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at 8 p.m. ET from the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles.
