The Grammy-winning artiste, best known for her global hit “Water,” joins Roc Nation after choosing not to renew her previous agreement with Epic Records. The move is strategically timed, arriving just weeks before the release of her highly anticipated sophomore album, “APOP*”, set for July 24, 2026.

With this partnership, Tyla now shares a label home with an elite group of artistes including Alicia Keys, Rihanna, J. Cole, Megan Thee Stallion, Ayra Starr, J.Balvin, The Clipse and Tiwa Savage.

Roc Nation’s global infrastructure is expected to provide Tyla with enhanced support for touring, high-end music videos, cross-genre collaborations, and international marketing. This partnership will further strengthen her footprint in Africa while significantly expanding her presence on the world stage.

Financial terms and contract length have not been disclosed. Still, the deal represents a major milestone for the 23-year-old star, who has risen rapidly from uploading songs as a Johannesburg teenager to becoming a Grammy-winning global force. Many in the industry see this alliance as the next step in what could be a long and influential career.
