Professional Ghanaian choreographer and dancer Endurance Grand has made an appearance in the upcoming African-inspired Hollywood film “Children of Blood and Bone.”
Known for her energetic performances, stage presence, and dedicated following within Ghana’s dance community, Endurance Grand was spotted in newly released behind-the-scenes promotional materials for the film.
The footage show her on set engaging in conversation with cast members and the production’s lead choreographer, Fatima Robinson, an established figure whose credits span major music videos, tours, and films.

Endurance Grand, who previously appeared in the award-winning Ghanaian film “The Fisherman” as the character Sasha, has not yet disclosed details of her role. However, fans have pointed to brief dance sequences in the footage as possible evidence of her involvement. The exact nature of her contribution, whether as a performer, choreographer, or in another creative capacity, remains unconfirmed.
Directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood, Children of Blood and Bone adapts Tomi Adeyemi’s bestselling fantasy novel. Set in the fictional West African-inspired kingdom of Orïsha, the story follows Zélie (played by Thuso Mbedu) on a dangerous quest to restore the magic that was violently taken from her people. The film draws on themes of oppression, resistance, and cultural reclamation, and was shot across locations in Spain and South Africa.
It features a high-profile ensemble including Damson Idris, Tosin Cole, Amandla Stenberg, Cynthia Erivo, Lashana Lynch, Regina King, Idris Elba, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Viola Davis. Grand’s presence in the production marks another step in the growing visibility of Ghanaian creative talent on major international projects.
Children of Blood and Bone is scheduled for an official release on January January 15, 2027.
