The National Football League has announced that Ayra Starr will perform during the halftime show during the 2026 NFL London Game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Jacksonville Jaguars on Oct. 11, 2026, at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
According to a statement by the NFL, Ayra Starr’s performance will be part of seven halftime shows staged across the league’s international games, spanning seven countries and four continents, as the NFL organizes its highest number of international fixtures in a single season.
Ayra Starr, who recently released her third studio album Starrgirl, will become the first Nigerian artiste to headline an NFL International Game halftime show. The two‑time Grammy nominee for Best African Music Performance and BET Award winner for Best International Act expressed her excitement about the announcement.
“I am so excited to perform at the NFL halftime show in London,” said Ayra Starr. “London is one of my favourite places in the world and to bring Starrgirl to the NFL global stage is a dream come true for me. I can’t wait to see you guys there!”
Speaking on the selection, Tim Tubito, senior director of global game presentation and music for the NFL in London, described Starr as a generational talent and the perfect fit for the show due to her appeal to Afrobeats fans in the city.
“Ayra Starr is a generational talent with a real connection to fans in this market, and building on the halftime shows we have staged in London in recent seasons, she is the right artist to carry that momentum forward. We look forward to collaborating with her on a performance that captures the energy that matches the moment.”
Ayra Starr’s full halftime performance, presented by American Express, will be broadcasted live in the UK free‑to‑air on Channel 5 and on Sky Sports.
The announcement follows previously confirmed performances by the Jonas Brothers at the 2026 NFL Melbourne Game on Sept. 10 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, and Ricky Martin with Pedro Sampaio at the 2026 NFL Rio Game on Sept. 27 at Maracanã Stadium.
