OkayAfrica’s Culture Cafe will return to Accra with Gyakie leading “An Evening with Gyakie” on Saturday, 26 September 2026 at Jambo Spaces.
The series, which spotlights African voices in music and culture, is staging its latest monthly edition in Ghana after successful stops across the continent.
Curated by OkayAfrica in collaboration with Jambo Spaces, the program will be moderated by Ghanaian pop culture journalist Olele Salvador and supported by Hennessy.

Organizers say the format is designed to blend performance with conversation, offering audiences a closer look at the singer’s creative process through a selection of her records, her philosophy on music, and exclusive insights into upcoming projects.
Beginning at 5:00 p.m., “An Evening with Gyakie” will feature an interactive listening session, audience Q&A, a meet‑and‑greet with fans, and an after‑party. Ghanaian singer Kaesa, handpicked by Gyakie, will also perform as part of the evening’s lineup.
Fans intending to attend must follow OkayAfrica on Instagram, share the official event post on their Instagram Story while tagging the platform, and submit a comment identifying their favourite Gyakie song along with a brief explanation of its personal significance.
