Nine years after the first instalment, Kojo Cue and Shaker have announced “Pen & Paper 2”, the second chapter of their collaborative rap and hip‑hop album.
The duo teased the project with a brief theatrical trailer, signalling their intent to deliver another dose of joint artistry.
The original Pen & Paper, released in 2017, became a cultural talking point with its inventive music videos and bars, and lyrical jabs, affirming the pair’s reputation as one of Ghana’s most dynamic rap partnerships.
Described by the artistes as a new assignment toward a known destination but on a different wave, Pen & Paper 2 will be preceded by a two‑track EP titled “This Trip”, curated as a warm‑up to the highly anticipated sequel.
Although official release dates for Pen & Paper 2 have not yet been announced, “This Trip” features two songs: the title track This Trip and Seen Dreams, which includes a guest appearance from singer Titi Owusu.
With “This Trip” setting the stage, fans now await the release of Pen & Paper 2, the second instalment of Kojo Cue and Shaker’s collaboration.
The project is expected to reconnect audiences with their sharp lyricism while showcasing new dimensions of the duo’s artistry in Ghana’s rap scene.
