Ghanaian highlife legend Pat Thomas’ 1984 classic “Gye Wani” has been confirmed for the soundtrack of the upcoming video game, Grand Theft Auto VI.

Rockstar Games, developer of the blockbuster franchise, announced on October 8, 2026, that six radio stations will provide players with diverse musical options as they explore the fictional state of Leonida, Rockstar’s version of modern‑day Florida.

The announcement marks one of the most ambitious music integrations in the series to date.

Rockstar released the first batch of songs assigned to each station, covering genres from reggaeton and Afrobeats to punk metal, pop, and country.

Each station will play short excerpts of tracks, with segments running under three minutes.

The full soundtrack list will be unveiled on November 19, 2026, and will include 34 original songs from artists such as Travis Scott, Rauw Alejandro, and Keith Richards.

Pat Thomas’ “Gye Wani”, which translates as Enjoy Yourself and features the late Ghanaian instrumentalist and singer Ebo Taylor, will appear on AfroBank FM.
