The Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, has hinted that the president of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will address the nation later tonight.
It has been about 14 days since the president last addressed the nation. This will be the eleventh address from the president on coronavirus. It is expected that the president will address the spike in cases especially in June. Ghana has currently recorded 11, 442 cases. Ghana’s death toll stands at 51 with 4,156 patients recovered.
In his last address, he eased some lockdown restictions that allowed religious bodies to attend fellowshiops but with not more than 100 people.
He also allowed for final year students at all levels to go back to school.
