Ghana’s COVID-19 Cases Now 17, 741 as Global Cases Surpass 10.3 Million

Data available from the Ghana Health Service indicate that the current number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ghana as at June 30 stand at 17, 741.

This new figure was reported by the Director General of the Ghana Health Service, Dr. Patrick Kumah Aboagye at the usual COVID-19 press briefing in Accra today.

According Dr. Kuma Aboagye, 13,268 persons have however recovered from the disease while there are about 24 in severe and critical conditions. Four persons out of these 24 are currently on ventilators.

Global Situation

Globally, the John Hopkins Institute report that the total number of  confirmed cases have passed 10.3million with 505,518 persons dead.
