The president of the republic, John Mahama, has approved the appointments of certain key figures to manage the office of the Vice President.
The list announced on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, by the acting spokesperson to the president, Felix Ofosu Kwakye, has key figures of the party enlisted.
Chief among the appointments is the former health minister Alex Segbefia, who’s been tasked as the vice president’s chief of staff. The former chairman of the party, Ofosu Ampofo, has also been appointed political adviser to Nana Jane Agyemang.
According to the communique, the president demands the best from the appointed personnel and the approval is in line with the quest to reset Ghana.
“They are expected to bring their wealth of experience and expertise to their respective roles and contribute significantly to the Resetting Ghana agenda to build the Ghana we want,” it stated.
