Chief Justice Gertrude Torkornoo has filed a suit, requesting the Supreme Court to injunct the Justice Pwamang-led committee investigating petitions calling for her removal from office.
Her suit was filed on Wednesday, May 21, after the Supreme Court coincidentally dismissed two separate suits seeking injunctions against the Pwamamg committee.
The Chief Justice, who remains suspended, is also asking the Court to injunct two of its justices who are on the committee probing the petitions, namely, Justice Gabriel Pwamang, who chairs the committee and Samuel Adibu Aseidu.
