The London edition marked a significant milestone for the “Cup & Bass” brand, originally conceived as a mixtape and now morphing into a lifestyle party concept that celebrates African excellence through music, style, and curated experiences. The event pulled about 200 people to the venue. From the booming sound system to the intimate crowd interactions, the duo replicated the authentic Ghana party spirit on foreign soil.
“Cups & Bass started in 2020 and as much as we’ve done, we’re always looking for new and authentic ways to push the brand. We can officially say we’re international because we hosted our own event in the UK,” Kojo Manuel said after the event.
DJ Loft added, “We brought the bass, they brought the energy. The connection was real. We came to set the tone, and the UK got the full Cup & Bass experience.”
The success of the July 13th show sets the stage for more international editions, as “Cup & Bass” looks to expand its global footprint while staying true to its Ghanaian roots. With Kojo Manuel and DJ Loft at the helm, fans can expect more high-energy shows, genre-bending music, and culturally resonant events across Europe and beyond.
For now, London is still buzzing. The bass was heavy, the cups were raised, and the vibe? Unmatched.
