Joker Nharnah, the sonic architect behind many of Black Sherif’s biggest hits, flips the script and enlists his longtime collaborator, Black Sherif, for his brand-new single “Lucky.”
Staying true to his role as the masterful producer, Joker Nharnah remains behind the console, working pure magic on the instrumentation. The young producer stitches indigenous Ghanaian highlife elements with contemporary guitar grooves while keeping the sound unmistakably 2025.
Turning gratitude into a sonic celebration of resilience, swagger and grace, Black Sherif seized the track, with a smooth yet commanding delivery. He glides on the beat with his chant-like refrain “I’m a lucky boy… a lucky boy,” soaring over conga percussions, a soulful live saxophone, and syncopated shakers that summon the vibe of vintage Ghanaian bandsmen.
