Ghana’s path to the 2026 FIFA World Cup has been designated, as the Black Stars have been drawn into Group L, following the FIFA World Cup draw event held on December 5, 2025.
For their fifth world cup campaign, the Black Stars have been paired alongside other countries, including England, Panama, and Croatia, with their first crucial match against Panama.
The Black Stars will face a second group match against the Croatians, respected for their consistency on the world stage. Ghana will then conclude the group phase with a match against England. This will mark the first-ever competitive meeting between Ghana and England at the senior level, adding extra anticipation to an already high-profile tie.
