Kpandai Re-Run: Global InfoAnalytics Poll Puts Nyindam Ahead of Nsala

According to the poll, conducted by Global Info Analytics, Matthew Nyindam commands 50 percent of voter support, narrowly ahead of Daniel Nsala Wakpal, who polled 46 percent. The findings suggest an intense contest likely to be decided by turnout and last-minute voter mobilisation.

A new opinion poll has revealed a tightly contested race ahead of the upcoming parliamentary re-run elections in the Kpandai Constituency on December 30, with Matthew Nyindam holding a marginal lead over his closest contender, Daniel Nsala Wakpal.

According to the poll conducted by Global Info Analytics, Matthew Nyindam commands 50 percent of voter support, narrowly ahead of Daniel Nsala Wakpal, who polled 46 percent. The findings suggest an intense contest likely to be decided by turnout and last-minute voter mobilisation.

The survey further indicates that 3 percent of respondents remain undecided, while 1 percent expressed a preference for another candidate – perhaps the independent candidate. Analysts note that although the undecided vote is small, it could prove decisive in a race separated by just four percentage points.

With the re-run approaching, attention is expected to shift to voter engagement, electoral logistics, and the ability of candidates to consolidate support across polling stations. The Electoral Commission has assured stakeholders of its readiness to conduct a credible and transparent process.
