The ceremony will culminate in the Pulung Festival, a vibrant celebration of traditional music, dance, and cultural heritage. This festival will serve as Wiyaala’s official introduction as Paramount Queen Mother to the indigenes of Funsi.

The evening’s festivities will feature a musical festival at 6:30 p.m., with performances by Wiyaala and a lineup of talented artists, including Gally, Samson B, The Yaga Yagas, Savage Dancers from Slovenia, B-Prince, F-Boy, Saadia, Apaco, Iron Bwoy, the Boys and Girls Club, the Chansiye Dance Group, and the Chansiye Women Group.

Wiyaala’s new role as Paramount Queen Mother is a proof of  her commitment to cultural preservation, community development, and advocacy for women and youth in Funsi.

This ordination also symbolizes the fusion of culture, female leadership and influence, in an era where the female gender is often sidelined from assuming powerful traditional roles.
