Drake’s upcoming studio album “Iceman” is scheduled for release on May 15, 2026, according to promotional materials retrieved from the 25-foot ice sculpture in downtown Toronto.
The ice sculpture, installed as part of an album promotion and designed to melt to reveal the date, did not thaw as expected. On Tuesday, April 21, 2026, Twitch streamer Kishka used an axe to break through the ice and retrieved a blue waterproof bag from inside.
The bag, emblazoned with the phrase “Freeze the World,” contained concept artwork for the album, including images of the fairy tale character Pinocchio, along with written confirmation of the May 15 release date.
