Ghanaian songstress Gyakie, music executive KJ Spio, and Nigeria’s fast-rising star Mavo feature on Brazilian football legend Ronaldinho’s new album, “Camisa 10.”
The trio collaborates on the track “Call Me”, a smooth, laid-back Afrobeats record about a lover seeking closure after a complicated relationship. The record merges Gyakie’s deep vocal texture with Mavo’s distinctive alternative street style, creating a vulnerable tone set against a breezy rhythm that feels intimate yet danceable.
Produced with contributions from Ghana’s iPhone DJ as co-producer, “Call Me” merges Gyakie’s rich, deep vocal texture with Mavo’s distinctive alternative street style. Ronaldinho and KJ Spio do not appear vocally but took an active role in the direction and production, lending their creative vision to the project.
