Music mogul, Sean “Diddy” Combs, has been placed in solitary confinement after a heated fight with another inmate at the federal prison in New Jersey where he is serving a 50-month sentence.
The altercation occurred this week at FCI Fort Dix. According to online sources familiar with the incident, another inmate made remarks about Combs that prompted a physical confrontation. The two men exchanged shoves and punches before prison staff intervened and separated them.
Sean Combs was then moved to solitary confinement. It remains unclear whether the placement is temporary or longer-term, or whether the incident will affect the “I’m Coming Home” hitmaker’s expected release date in 2028.

When probed for details concerning the brawl, a spokesperson for the Federal Bureau of Prisons said the agency does not comment on “conditions of confinement, disciplinary matters, or other information regarding individual inmates due to privacy, safety, and security concerns.”
Sean Combs, 56, is serving his sentence after being convicted last year in Manhattan federal court of transportation to engage in prostitution.
Jurors acquitted the Bad Boy Records founder, for serious charges of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking. He began serving his time at Fort Dix in October 2025.
