Ghanaian singer Mr Drew has issued a stern warning to music duo DopeNation, urging them to refrain from mentioning his name in media interviews unless necessary.
In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday, July 29, the “Case” hitmaker expressed disappointment over what he described as disrespectful behavior from the twin brothers.
The post, which has since sparked a wave of online reactions, came in response to comments made by DopeNation in an interview with popular content creator Headless YouTuber, in which the twin brothers claimed Mr Drew had failed to properly credit them for songs they co-wrote.

While Mr Drew did not directly address the substance of the claims, his tone left little room for ambiguity – he clearly views the public airing of such issues as unprofessional.
The underlying issue – songwriting credit – is a recurring theme in Ghana’s music industry, where behind-the-scenes collaborations often go unacknowledged or become points of dispute.
DopeNation has not officially responded, but fans are already divided: some are calling for transparency and proper recognition, while others urge artists to resolve creative disputes privately rather than through online confrontations.
