The New Patriotic Party (NPP), has concluded its presidential balloting exercise ahead of the January 31, 2026, primary, which will determine the party’s flagbearer for the 2028 general election.
In a statement released by the Presidential Elections Committee, the party announced that the exercise was successfully conducted in collaboration with officials from the Electoral Commission of Ghana.
The order in which the candidates will appear on the ballot is as follows:

The Committee, led by Secretary William Yamoah, expressed appreciation to all the aspirants, their representatives, and the Electoral Commission for their cooperation during the process.
“The Presidential Elections Committee reaffirms its unwavering commitment to transparency, fairness, and the highest democratic standards in the conduct of the Presidential primary,” the statement said.
The NPP is expected to officially elect its next presidential candidate in January 2026 as the party positions itself for the 2028 general elections.
