What do you do when your deepest feelings for a woman trapped in a toxic cycle of abuse and disrespect are completely overlooked, until it’s too late?
On their latest collaboration “Odo Pa,” Sarkodie and Kweku Flick wrestle with this devastating question, crafting an emotional record that confronts the painful realities of domestic violence.
Directed and shot by David Duncan, the tack-sharp music video plays out like a short film. It centres on a drug-addicted pole dancer emotionally entangled in a dangerous, abusive relationship. Sarkodie steps in as a would-be saviour, offering her an escape built on genuine love, respect, and stability. Yet her hesitation proves fatal, leading to her demise after an argument with her embattled lover.

Left to grapple with the weight of her choices, Sarkodie lyrically dissects the dark arc of her loveless world in incisive verses, exposing the unhappiness and maltreatment she endures while urging her to break free. Kweku Flick complements the pain with a stirring chorus that bridges Sarkodie’s pleas for a better life with themes of love and happiness.
Sonically, “Odo Pa” is anchored by long-time collaborator M.O.G Beatz, who handles production, mixing, and engineering. He drapes the track in a melancholic atmosphere driven by heavy, shaking percussions, syncopated drum patterns, and deep, rumbling guitar basslines that heighten the song’s emotional weight.
Sarkodie released visuals for “Odo Pa” featuring Kweku Flick on May 1, 2026. The release marks the duo’s third collaboration, after previously teaming up on “Messiah” and “Fire.”
