For the 2026 edition, nominations opened in late 2025 and underwent vetting by the Forbes Africa editorial team in partnership with South African firm SNG Grant Thornton. The process involved detailed verification of documents, financial records, and background checks, followed by interviews and expert consultations.
Forbes Africa noted that the 30 Under 30 list represents only a small portion of Africa’s exceptional young talent, with many more deserving individuals expected to be recognised in future editions.
